We supply lamainations, core packs and electrical machines for the Commercial and Defence Aerospace sectors. 

These include motors for Generators, Actuators and VTOL applications.

The laminations can be stamped for which we design and manufacture the stamping tool. For exspediency we also supply lamiantions manufactured by Wire EDM for prototype or small volume production. These are manufactured from all material types including electrical steels along with cobalt irons as thin as 0.1mm in thickness.

The core packs we supply can be either bonded, welded or mechanically fixed together ranging from 25mm diameter to 350mm diameter.

The electrical machines we manufacture are fully tested in house and are certified under our AS9100 REV D credititation which are are certified for electrical machine manufacture under this certficate.

MTD are unique in their field as we offer the sevice of bringing a concept electrical machine to working prototype in the most efficient manner in both time and cost.

We are able to do this by having all the elements of electrical machine manufacture within MTD's manufacturing facility. These include the ability to manufacture laminations from various methods including stamping, Wire EDM and Laser Cutting from numerous materials and thicknessess.

Along with the laminations we can supply the core pack which we can then bond and apply resin to the laminations in our roller coating facility and we can control the thickness of the application to within 4 microns.

We can take the core pack and create the electrical machine within our own dedicated elctrical machine manufacturing facility.

Therefore your product is controlled from the start, from our experience in lamination production, to a fully tested electrical machine, all at one facility.
