Since 1950, familiy owned business from three generations, we are expert in engineering and manufacturing critical and special hot forged fasteners and we are specialized in manufacturing high precision components and systems mainly for transmissions, rotors and engines. We are also expert in manufacturing studs, rods and special fittings.
In 2020 we have unvailed our brand new Factory of the Future, up to 20.000 m2 of space, where we have based the patented High Speed Manufacturing line for standard and special titanium, inconel and other hard materials for the commercial aircraft industry. The capability of this automatic manufacturing line is 100 fasteners per minute and we introduce the concept of producing per ship-set and not only based on large volumes for each single part number. This allow us to be very flexible, competitive and to reduce the lead time.
We supply the aerospace industry since 1996. We are EN9100 (both manufacturing and engineering) and NADCAP (heat treatment, NDT & galvanic) certified. Our key customers are Leonardo, Safran, Boeing, Avio-GE and Kawasaky Heavy Industries.
Poggipolini also founded the Sens-In company that invented the very first intelligent fasteners developing and patenting specific sensors capable to transmit in real time mechanical and temperature data. Sens-In introduces the Internet of Fasteners.
