The São José dos Campos Technology Park was created in 2006 and the institution is one of the largest innovation and entrepreneurial centers in Brazil. PqTec fosters programs that support science, technology and other key areas for companies and institutions. The companies based in the techpark have access to commercial space and infrastructure, as well as management training programmes and the opportunity to promote their business-to-research organisations and funding bodies. The institution manages several projects including the Brazilian Aerospace Cluster, ICT cluster, Nexus Hub of Innovation and the LABs.
