In 1969 Flame Spray was established as the first Italian job shop to actively promote Thermal Spray Coating technologies and activities.

Today, counting on more than 400 people employed, it is an international benchmark for applications in many markets like Aerospace, Energy, Oil & Gas, Printing, Steel. 

Flame Spray is providing advanced coating and processes in aerospace market from the plant in Roncello, the plant in Hungary, the plant in US and from the plant in Morra de Sanctis, fully dedicated to aerospace activities.

Main processes provided are:

- Advanced thermal spray coatings (Plasma Spray) for engine components, such as TBC, abradable coatings, wear resistant coatings

- HVOF coatings as replacement of hard chrome plating on landing gears, pistons, and actuators

- Pt-modified aluminides and aluminides for blades and vanes
